Revision Urban Farm
RUF began as part of a womens’ shelter in Dorchester, MA. Over the years it evolved into the thriving, organic, urban farm that it is today. The produce provides for the shelter, as well as the community. The farm is part of a CSA Farm Share organization that allows discounted rates for their weekly produce boxes for individuals and families within certain socioeconomic level of the community. This ensures access to healthy food for all.
I volunteered here two springs in a row and took photographs as I went. I was asked to share my photographs with the organization for their use, and it lead to them asking me to create a new Seedlings Catalog and a CSA Farm Share Order form as shown below. I then offered my architectural skills as one of the farm leaders wished to have images to help secure a grant for the funding of a new HQ for the organization.
